【摘要】:Someprocesscatalystsusedinpetroleumandchemicalrefiningcanbepoisonedwhentraceamountsofsulfurbearingmaterialsarecontainedinthefeedstocks.Thistestmethodcanbeusedtodeterminesulfurinprocessfeedssulfurinfinishedproducts,andcanalsobeusedforpurposesofregulatorycontrol.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationoftotalsulfurinliquidhydrocarbons,boilingintherangefromapproximately25to400x00B0;C,withviscositiesbetweenapproximately0.2and20cSt(mm2/S)atroomtemperature.1.2Threeseparateinterlaboratorystudies(ILS)onprecision,andthreeotherinvestigationsthatresultedinanASTMresearchreport,havedeterminedthatthistestmethodisapplicabletonaphthas,distillates,engineoil,ethanol,FattyAcidMethylEster(FAME),andenginefuelsuchasgasoline,oxygenenrichedgasoline(ethanolblends,E-85,M-85,RFG),diesel,biodiesel,diesel/biodieselblends,andjetfuel.Samplescontaining1.0to8000mg/kgtotalsulfurcanbeanalyzed(Note1).Note18212;Estimatesofthepooledlimitofquantification(PLOQ)fortheprecisionstudieswerecalculated.Valuesrangedbetweenlessthan1.0andlessthan5.0mg/kg(seeSection8and15.1).1.3Thistestmethodisapplicablefortotalsulfurdeterminationinliquidhydrocarbonscontaininglessthan0.35%(m/m)halogen(s).1.4ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Nootherunitsofmeasurementareincludedinthisstandard.1.5Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Forwarningstatements,see3.1,6.3,6.4,Section7,and8.1.
